2009 has begun with a treasure trove of new releases by popular and new authors. No matter what genre you like to dive into, you'll find plenty of great books to peruse.

Some New Books in January

January has had the release of Janet Evanovich's new book, Plum Spooky. This one follows her lead character, Stephanie Plum, through a mystery filled with sensuality, crime and a host of crazy characters.

Also released were Eclipse by Richard North Patterson (legal thriller), Beat the Reaper by Josh Bazell (comic suspense), 3 Willows by Anne Brashares (from the author of Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, but for a younger audience this time), The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama by Gwen Ifill (politics and sociology), We Can Have Peace in the Homeland by ex President Jimmy Carter (this is Carter's fourth book-politics and sociology), and John Grisham's long awaited The Associate (legal thriller).

You can find out more about Lynda Resnick's book -- and even ask her business advice directly -- here:

FYI -- Lynda's is not a novel but rather a non-fiction book about her enormous marketing success with such brands as Teleflora, POM Wonderful and FIJI Water, to name a few.
